Pacific Blue Surf Adventures specializes in authentic surf adventures and guided tours along the Pacific coastlines of Southern California and Costa Rica. Our surf adventures are for students, families, organizations, private groups and are designed for complete beginners to experienced-level surfers.
PacificBlue Surf Adventures was founded by Canadian native Dan Boag. Born and raised in Toronto, it’s hard to believe he found his way into the world of surf travel. Dan's first exposure to surfing came about at age 10 while vacationing in South Carolina with his family. Being able to independently catch the first wave he had ever paddled for was enough to hook him for life and a foresight of endless adventure to come.
Bit by the surfing bug at age 10 and stranded in a city thousands of miles from the Ocean put limitations on Dan's opportunities to pursue surfing as a hobby. Frequent family beach vacations were his only source to the ocean as a child. It wasn't until the completion of high school that Dan would truly begin his surfing journey.
Landing a summer job in Southern California was the beginning of his surf life. The future brought plenty more opportunities like this to travel, work abroad and surf while earning a University education in business. Traveling to Central American, South American and Hawaii gave Dan the opportunity to experience new cultures & surf world-class waves.
7 years after the start of his journey, Dan launched this radical company known as PacificBlue Surf Adventures. Since then he has been taking adventurous travellers on incredible journey's and introducing them to the world of surfing!
What we offer:
7-day instructional surf adventures and guided surf tours
Our surf adventure packages are designed for individuals with zero to intermediate surfing experience. Trips are 7 days in length and include a combination of surf instruction (on land and in water) as well as daily activities and excursions to area attractions. Our trips operate in small group setting of 6 -12 guests with a 6:1student to guide ratio to maximize the adventure and learning experience. In the the evenings you will have an opportunity to check out the nightlife scene or kick-back and relax by the camp fire on the beach and toast marshmallows.
